Competitive Teams
Professional coaching, individual development plans, and a pathway that takes your child as far as their talent and work ethic will go. Ages 6-15.
What Your Player Gets
Professional Coaching
Every head coach is USSF-licensed and trained directly by Technical Director Bob Joyce — 50+ years of experience, kinesiology expert, and the coach who first developed USWNT star Naomi Girma. No volunteer coaches.
Individual Development Plans
Coaches track each player’s progress and tailor feedback to their specific strengths and goals. Small groups mean your child is actually coached — not just managed in a crowd.
More Game Exposure
League play every season, plus complimentary friendlies, guesting opportunities, and State Cup entry. Optional tournaments available. Your player gets more competitive minutes — included.
Character and Leadership
At Cupertino FC, competitive soccer isn’t just about wins. Our players are given the tools to communicate, handle adversity, and represent themselves with integrity; qualities that colleges and employers seek — and the ones that last a lifetime.
More Training, Year-Round
Our players train 3 times per week, year round. We welcome all players to any additional open session at no extra charge — the more they train, the faster they improve.
League Competition
Teams compete in NorCal Premier and CalNorth (Gold through Copper divisions), placed at the level where your child is challenged and growing — not overwhelmed or coasting.

How We Develop Players
Every training session at Cupertino FC targets four dimensions of development. This isn’t a slogan — it’s the framework every coach uses to plan practices, evaluate progress, and give your child specific, actionable feedback.
Technical
Ball mastery, first touch, passing accuracy, shooting technique. The fundamentals that serve as a base for everything else.
Physical
Kinesiology-based movement training, age-appropriate strength and conditioning, injury prevention. Our players move better, last longer, and stay healthy.

Tactical
Reading the game, positioning, decision-making under pressure. We teach kids why and when — not just what to do.
Mental
Confidence, communication, resilience, leadership. The traits that make someone a great teammate, a great competitor, and a great person.
