Meet our coaches, get on the field, and see whether Cupertino FC is the right fit for your child. We’re looking for effort and coachability, not perfection.

Before You Book

Our competitive program includes year-round training, three scheduled practices per week during competitive seasons, and weekend league games.

Standard annual tuition is $2,868 for U10 and younger or $2,988 for U11 and older. Uniforms are typically $150–$200 extra. Mid-year pricing, payment plans, and financial aid are available; see our enrollment information for details.

What to Expect

Your child will take part in soccer activities, drills, and small-sided games so our coaches can get to know how they play and learn.

We pay attention to effort, listening, teamwork, and how players respond to feedback, alongside their current skills. Encourage your child to give things a try, ask questions, and enjoy playing.

A tryout also gives your family a chance to meet the coaches and decide whether the program feels right.

After the Tryout

An evaluation may take 1–3 sessions. Your booking is for the first visit; the coach will let you know if another session would help.

Within 24 hours of the final tryout, we’ll follow up with feedback and the next step. That may be a team offer, another development opportunity, or a recommendation for camps or recreational soccer.

If your child receives a team offer, we’ll explain the team, fees, and enrollment process.

Getting Ready

Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked start time and check in with the coach.

Bring: Soccer cleats and shin guards, comfortable athletic clothing, and a filled water bottle.

Follow the location and start/end times in your booking confirmation. Complete the agreements in the form before attending.

We currently do not have U16 to U19 competitive teams (players born before August 1st, 2011). Please fill out the interest form, and we will inform you if anything changes.

 

Tryout FAQ

No. Players coming from recreational soccer or trying competitive soccer for the first time are welcome. We consider potential, willingness to learn, and fit for the team.

Yes. Girls are welcome to try out; our competitive teams currently play in boys’ divisions.

We offer tryouts during the year when roster space and league eligibility allow. The calendar shows the appointments currently available for your child’s age group.

There may be no sessions currently available for that age group. Contact us, and we may be able to find a spot. We currently offer competitive tryouts for U7–U15.

If your child is registered with another NorCal club, contact us before attending so we can confirm the applicable tryout and permission requirements. See NorCal’s current tryout rules.

Yes, parents are welcome to watch from the sideline.
