Handbook > Competitive Team Enrollment Policy
Effective: August 20th, 2026
Ready to Join Cupertino FC?
Cupertino FC believes families should understand the complete cost of participation before committing. We do not charge mandatory team fees or add undisclosed costs after enrollment.
The only separate costs are the player’s uniform and any optional tournaments in which the team chooses to participate. We also do not require credit-card payment, automatically charge cards without notice, or charge late fees to families receiving new roster offers.
The registration form shows the enrollment options available for your player, exact tuition, and payment schedule before you submit. There is nothing for you to calculate.
The Competitive Club Year
Cupertino FC is a year-round player-development program with two primary competitive seasons:
Fall competitive season: August 1 – Nov 30
Winter development period: December – February
Spring competitive season: March 1 – Jun 30
Off-season training and preparation: July
Players are expected to commit to the full club year, including both competitive seasons. Stable rosters allow the Club to plan coaching, fields, league placement, and player development effectively.
Annual Tuition
| Player age group | Early Commitment Rate* | Standard Tuition |
|---|---|---|
| U10 and younger | $2,650 | $2,868 |
| U11 and older | $2,750 | $2,988 |
The standard annual tuition for U10 and younger players is equivalent to $239 per month over 12 months. The U11 and older tuition is equivalent to $249 per month over 12 months
*The initial payment must be received by April 1. Families requesting financial aid can preserve this rate by completing registration and submitting a completed financial-aid application by April 1.
Joining During the Year?
Tuition is adjusted based on the player’s registration date. The registration form calculates everything automatically and shows your exact tuition before you submit.
- Current club year: After August 15, tuition decreases daily by approximately $200 for every 30 days (calculated daily). Beginning December 1, tuition starts at $2,000 and continues to decrease at approximately the same rate through the end of the club season.
- Spring: Spring only registrations (available beginning December 1st) include winter training and run until the end of the club year.
- Spring plus the following club year: When available, the Spring portion starts at $1,000—$500 less than Spring alone—and receives the same date adjustment after March 15. The form shows the complete combined price.
- Beginning May 30: Eligible new players enrolling for the following club year may join the remainder of the current Spring and summer training at no additional Club tuition.
You do not need to calculate anything—the registration form shows the exact amount.
Available options are subject to roster space and league eligibility.

These requirements apply to every player and cannot be waived by an individual coach.
Commitment and Refund Policy
Please review these terms before accepting a roster offer:
- Players must complete registration and submit payment within one week of registration, or request financial aid before participating in practices or games.
- After the 14-day satisfaction period, annual enrollment is a commitment for the club year.
- If a family withdraws on or before August 15, payments already made are nonrefundable, but future annual installments will be canceled.
- After August 15, annual tuition is nonrefundable and remaining installments stay due, even if the player leaves the team, joins another club, or stops participating.
- Spring tuition is nonrefundable after the 14-day satisfaction period.
- A documented season-ending injury, qualifying family relocation, or extraordinary hardship may be reviewed privately by the Club. Any adjustment is discretionary and is not guaranteed. Approved adjustments are applied to unpaid tuition first.
- Enrollment is subject to roster availability, league eligibility, accurate registration information, and timely payment.
All deadlines use Pacific Time. By registering, the player’s parent or legal guardian agrees to these enrollment and tuition terms.
