our story

Built by Cupertino Parents, for Cupertino Families

Cupertino FC started in 2015 with a simple question: why should our kids have to choose between a massive club where they’re just a number, and a recreational league where the coaching is well-meaning but amateur?

Founded by local parents and coaches who grew up in this community, Cupertino FC was built to give Silicon Valley families something better: the professional-level training and competitive rigor of a big club, combined with the personal attention, accountability, and genuine care that only a community-rooted organization can provide.

More Than Soccer

In a community that produces engineers, entrepreneurs, and innovators, we don’t think athletics should be disconnected from the values that drive success everywhere else. At Cupertino FC, soccer is a vehicle for developing the whole person.

The discipline to show up and work hard when no one is watching. The strategic thinking to read a situation and make a decision in real time. The resilience to recover from a loss, a bad play, or a tough season. The leadership to lift up a teammate instead of tearing them down.

These aren’t just athletic qualities. They’re the qualities that drive success in the classroom, in college interviews, in careers, and in life. Every training session, every game, and every interaction at Cupertino FC is designed with this bigger picture in mind.

We measure our success not just in wins and trophies — but in the confidence, character, and competence our players carry with them long after their last game.
